DSME Course Delivers

Our latest 'Developing and Delivering Diabetes Self Management Education' (or DD DSME for short!) was hailed as a great success by participants, who included teams of children and young peoples' nurses, dietitians and consultants from a paediatric network.  Their 3 days of workshops, each day separated by several weeks, enabled them to 'put the structure into structured education' as one of them declared.  

One comment that seemed to sum up everyone's thoughts was 'we now feel motivated and skilled to deliver an innovative structured education programme'.  It was such a pleasure to work with them and see their progress in making an important difference to life with diabetes for their families.

DD DSME is available for commission for children's or adult services, individual or groups of teams, or networks
