More 'Language Matters' News!

To complement all the various publications and presentations about 'Language Matters' (see below) including our own 'SD Language Challenge', which we presented throughout February, there is currently a short survey from NHS England, for both people with diabetes and health professionals, about the UK Position Statement and their experiences of language and diabetes.

Previous news items have detailed the origins and inspiration of 'Language Matters'. Following the official launch of the UK position statement on Monday 11th June, 2018 via NHS England, we have been continuing to spread the word in a series of recent publications, including a review of the literature in Diabetic Medicine and 2 opinion pieces, in Nursing Times and Journal of Diabetes Nursing.
