Type 2 Diabetes? Opportunity to take part in a UK research project:

I'm very happy to be spreading the word to help Joshua Wells, a Pharmacist, with his PhD project at Kingston University. The project is aiming to find out more about how people with Type 2 diabetes take their medications.  Josh is looking for people in the UK with Type 2 diabetes who have been taking any diabetes medications, including insulin, for six months or more.

If that's you, please read the information sheet and consent form below and see if you would like to take part. Briefly, this involves completing a questionnaire and providing some data about your medicines (this information can usually be obtained over the phone from your pharmacist or GP surgery).  If you do take part, once you have completed the questionnaire and sent in your medicines details, you will be rewarded with a £10 online voucher for John Lewis/Waitrose (or another preferred voucher if it can be arranged).  Josh estimates the questionnaire will take 15-20 minutes of your time.

All the information about the research and what you need to do is in the documents below, and Josh is also happy to be contacted directly, using his email, which is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Wishing every success to this useful project!
